Playtest invitation

Help us build games for game night.

Escarp Games makes games you play together on phones and tablets set down side by side. Pinch your screens together and they become one game board. We have games that work, and we need people to play them and tell us what is wrong.

What we are making

Everyone at the table brings a phone or tablet. A game starts on one device; a friend joins with a short game number, and you pinch your screens together to link them. Add more devices and the board grows. Every game also works on your own.

What we will ask you to do

1. 01
   Play with a friendOpen a game in your phone's browser (nothing to install), start one, and join it from a second device. In the same room is best; remote works too.
2. 02
   Try to break itLink, unlink, leave, rejoin, rotate the phone, drop the connection. If it surprises you, that is exactly what we want to hear about.
3. 03
   Tell us what happenedA few lines by email: which game, what you did, what you expected, what you got. What felt great is just as useful as what broke.
4. 04
   Come back for new buildsWe change the games often. When there is something new to try, we will tell you what to look at.

Plan on an hour or two a week if you like, and nothing if you do not. There is no minimum. The builds are unfinished, so please keep them to yourself for now.

Your privacy

The games give each device a random guest identity; you do not need an account, and we never ask for payment. We read what you send us and nothing else about you. Details are in the privacy policy.
